DAR, from Tectónica Cultural, opens the call dedicated to the Mancomunitat Els Ports where the selected women will be part of a platform of Women Visual Artists living in rural areas that will make visible their work through cultural diversity, their data and works.
During the duration of the cultural project there will be a program for the professionalization of visual artists, which in addition to training sessions, will include a consulting service, cultural events and a career guidance course for visual artists; the latter, taught by Jaime Lopez of the Sustainable Art Association, consultant and mentor of visual artists with a long career in the field of cultural management.
Finally, the community pre-projects created in groups by the artists will be tutored and an event will be scheduled at the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, where the project will be presented and the artists themselves will explain their pre-projects.
Those women residing in the Mancomunitat Els Ports who develop their professional activity in the field of art, partially or exclusively, or because they want to start a career and social participation in this sector may participate in the call. The selection of candidates will be made according to criteria of quality, innovation and diversity.
