Fundación Contemporánea has included Dones Artistes Rurales (DAR), an initiative of Tectónica Cultural, on its list of “Best of Culture in Rural Environments.” The organization presented the “Best of Culture 2024” list through its cultural observatory, where it highlighted the country’s most relevant organizations through various rankings.
The main objective of the Culture Observatory is to highlight a broad, high-quality, and constantly evolving cultural offering throughout Spain, providing the endorsement of the sector’s leading professionals. Thus, this report highlights more than 700 cultural proposals from across Spain, identified by the panelists as the best in the various categories proposed.
To conduct this survey, a questionnaire was sent to a panel of 1,021 top-level cultural professionals: heads of foundations; directors of museums, theaters, cultural centers and institutions; publishers, producers, promoters, gallery owners, and heads of cultural industries; exhibition curators, festival directors, cultural managers, artists and creators from all fields and professionals in the sector, as well as heads of cultural areas and institutions within central and local public administrations. Those responsible for projects reflected in the various rankings in this report are invited to join the panel in subsequent years.
