- The Andanes d’Art proposal will create a catalog of artists, spaces, and cultural resources in Alboraia
Valencia (28.05.2024). The Andanes d’Art initiative, created by Tectónica Cultural in collaboration with the Alboraia City Council, has become a reference for energizing the cultural sector of Alboraia. The main objective of this project is to create a comprehensive catalog of cultural resources in the municipality, including artists and spaces, to foster collaboration and mutual support within the artistic and craft sector.
The proposal aims to position this locality in Horta Nord as a collaborative municipality for artists and creatives, promoting art and culture as drivers of economic and social development. This catalog will include studios, workshops, academies, and other art spaces, as well as people dedicated to the artistic or cultural sector who live, work, or study in the municipality. It will also identify the public and private spaces and resources available in Alboraia that can be used by artists.
One of the key objectives of Andanes d’Art is to raise the visibility of local artists and facilitate access to the resources needed for their development. The tool aims to attract and boost local talent, projecting the image of the municipality and its orchards through a pioneering, sustainable, and efficient proposal for resource use.
In this sense, Alboraia aims to demonstrate its commitment to art and culture, consolidating itself as a welcoming town for cultural and creative industries in the Valencian Community. The Alboraia Department of Culture, together with Tectónica Cultural, is taking the first steps towards creating the first catalog of artists, artisans, creative spaces, and cultural resources in Horta Nord. This effort reflects a clear commitment to strengthening the municipality’s cultural identity and fostering a collaborative environment that benefits both artists and the community at large.
With this initiative, the aim is not only to enrich Alboraia’s cultural offering but also to generate a positive impact on the local economy through the promotion of the cultural and creative sector. Collaboration between institutions, artists, and the community will be essential for the success of Andanes d’Art, which is shaping up to be a model for promoting art and culture at the local level.
