On Sunday, November 24, at 12 p.m., as part of the Femme In Arts Festival, ALMINAL. Body, Voice, and Memory was presented outside the Centre d’Art Lo Pati.

This performance, conceived by artists participating in the DAR Project (Women Rural Artists) from the Terres de l’Ebre editionAntònia Ripoll, Gemma Ginovart, and Sarah Misselbrook—and curated by Clara Albacete, creator and director of DAR, featured the participation of the project’s artists along with invited guests.

The main concept explored is the transmission of intangible knowledge among women throughout history. The wisdom of the land is passed down through natural elements, but in this process, the mechanization of rural areas also plays a leading role.

Connections and relationships are established, and the voices of women—silenced and rendered invisible for so many years—emerge, reclaiming their inner voice. This female legacy, neither recognized nor documented, needs to be valued and made visible.
